INVOLVEMENT
UC Greenhouse
My first year at UC, I started working in the University Greenhouse, cleaning and taking care of the plants. I learned Latin nomenclature, pest control methods, and how to maintain an indoor pond. Through this work I am not only bringing myself joy, I am also contributing to Biology research, community education, and the aesthetic beauty of this campus!
Since middle school, I've been volunteering for the Temple Caring Committee. We visit people in nursing homes and bring them small gifts and well wishes around the holidays to help them stay connected to our congregation

Summer of 2020, I was trained by Al Gore to be a Global Climate Reality Leader. I am taking at least 10 Acts of Leadership in the next year to shape public opinion, inspire action, and lead the global fight for climate solutions.
